How Tallwater came to be
We started by working directly inside small businesses on the coast of Maine — and kept seeing the same problems everywhere we looked.
Tallwater was started in Belfast, Maine
Working with a plumbing company in Midcoast Maine, we kept seeing the same thing — owners running their entire business from their cell phone with no real system behind them.
Built the first CRM and workflow stack for a trades client
Their follow-up rate went from occasional to automatic. Jobs stopped slipping through. That client is still a partner today.
Switched to retainer-based partnerships
One-time projects didn't stick — clients needed someone to stay and keep things running. The retainer model was the only way to do the job right.
